Power Electric Switchboards, which is also based in Brisbane, manufactures heavy-duty motor control centres and distribution boards for the commercial, industrial and mining sectors.

DPSA Holdings managing director Neill Clur said Power Electric Switchboards had an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and guaranteed performance, and was the sole or preferred supplier to dragline and mining shovel manufacturers, city councils and major electrical contractors.

Power Electric Switchboards is headed by Director Paul Johnstone, who joined the DPSA group after more than a decade with Siemens.

Mr Johnstone, who is a marketing specialist and electrical engineer, said there was huge potential for new business growth.
